Clues: Hidden in plain sight

As the year swiftly draws to a close, I find myself amazed that it's already December. You may have seen in my previous newsletters that I’d fallen behind with Prophecy of Tears and Sacrifice. This is still true, but here’s the latest update on the situation:

In short, I’m working to get it finished as soon as possible. While the first draft of Prophecy of Tears and Sacrifice is still in progress, I’ve so far finished writing 170,000 words. To put that into perspective, that’s about the length of “Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince”. There’s still a good chunk of work to do, and I don’t want to commit to a particular word count end goal. The third installment in the Symphony of Crowns and Gods series will be as long as necessary to do justice to its intricate plot, ensuring every word counts. Numerous plot threads, both familiar and new, have intertwined, leading to a richer and more expansive story than initially planned.

In the upcoming book, familiar faces such as Kaine, Eisenbern, Prince Xander, Princess Kira, Merdel, and Thane will play pivotal roles in the next book, along with many other characters you’ve encountered in the first two books. As for Princess Lydia, some additional details will arise from her wedding to Prince Thane—a deeper meaning, and greater purpose.

Clues have been intricately woven into the fabric of books 1 and 2, subtly hidden in plain sight. If you’ve read book 1 again after reading book 2, you’ll possibly see some of those secrets. In some ways, Book 2 inverted Book 1, and being aware of the truth's grand scheme will highlight different details compared to before.

Prophecy of Tears and Sacrifice will bear this same effect, and I’m so excited to see what you will think when the time comes and the truth behind Wedding of the Torn Rose and Gravity of Obedience unravels. There are still many untold secrets and thrilling adventures awaiting you in the world of Symphony of Crowns and Gods…
