An Epic June

It's been an epic past month! I've been working on getting my home's back patio renovated, and now that everything is almost ready, I'll have a new writing space soon. Unfortunately, I have also been fighting against 100+ degree days, so both me and my laptop have been baking as I've been setting up new patio furniture purchased on sale from Costco and Walmart and trying to get some writing done.

The good news: Thane Asche's initial chapters are coming along well, and I've hit 25,000 words total so far on the first draft of Prophecy of Tears and Sacrifice. I honestly didn't expect to hit this word count so soon. I only have the first third of the Eisenbern POV chapters done and a few of Thane's. That's it! Outlines for everything else are ready, but at this rate, I'm expecting the third volume in the Symphony of Crowns and Gods series to be at least as large as the first two books combined. More on that will come later, but I can say this is a healthy pace so far.
